The Territory
Monte Porzio and the Cesano Valley: 60 km of nature, history and culture from the Apennines to the Adriatic

Sea & Beaches
Just 10 km away, the beaches of Marotta await you with fine sand and the typical white pebbles. Between the renowned Fano and Senigallia, the Adriatic coast offers equipped beach resorts, crystal-clear sea and the famous Spiaggia di Velluto.

Medieval Villages
Monte Porzio preserves noble palaces such as Palazzo Montevecchio, Palazzo Terni and the Church of Santa Maria Assunta. Nearby, enchanting villages like Mondavio with its Rocca Roveresca, Corinaldo, San Lorenzo in Campo and Castelvecchio hold centuries of history.

Art Cities
Urbino, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and cradle of the Renaissance, is just 40 minutes away. Pesaro, Italian Capital of Culture 2024, Fano with its Arch of Augustus and Senigallia with the Rocca Roveresca complete an extraordinary artistic heritage.

Nature & Fossil Forest
Monte Porzio is home to the Fossil Forest of the Cesano Valley, a unique site with Scots pine trunks dating back 50,000 years. The Park of Life offers a geo-naturalistic trail along the Cesano River. Mount Catria provides hiking, trekking and breathtaking panoramas.

Flavours & Events
The area is rich in food and wine traditions: vincisgrassi (local lasagna), rabbit in porchetta, cured meats, cheeses and extra virgin olive oil. In March the Fair of San Giuseppe and in October the Grape to Wine Festival bring Monte Porzio alive with historical re-enactments and traditional cuisine.
